Carl lives in Strasburg Colorado and enjoys finding and capturing the beauty of the Colorado Eastern Plains. He participated in the Colorado Photographic Art Center Veterans Program in 2020 and is a founding member of the Corridor Creative Arts League in Bennett Colorado. He has judged photography at the Arapahoe County Fair in both the Senior and Junior Divisions. He provides photographs of high school sports and community events for a local newspaper. He has had a passion for photography from a very young age when he stepped on a stool and watched his father drop pieces of paper in water and images magically appeared. It is only now in the sunset years of his life that he has the opportunity to pursue what makes him happiest and share the passion with others. His most special is watching his grandchildren use Grandpa's big black camera, with the camera hanging around their ankles gleefully raising it and snapping pictures.
